Setting up your appointment is as easy as 1, 2, 3. If you live in upstate South Carolina and you have a divorce, child custody or family law issue, then I may be able to help you. In order to determine if I can help you, you need to make an appointment.
There is no fee for the first appointment and there is no obligation for you to retain me. This meeting is where we are going to determine if there is anything I can do to help you.
STEP 1: MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT BY TELEPHONE OR E-MAIL
Call my office toll free 800-216-1116 or locally at 864-271-7940 to speak with my assistant about setting up a convenient time to come to my office to discuss your case. You may also contact me directly by e-mail (tripp at upstatefamilylawblog.com) to set up your appointment. If you live outside of the Greenville area and are unable to come to my office for an appointment, then we will gladly set up an appointment to discuss your case over the telephone.
STEP 2: PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Have you already been served with papers from your spouse? Are you under a court order currently? Have you received a demand letter from your spouse’s attorney? These are all important things that I will need to review at our meeting. You should also have important contact information for you, information about where any opposing parties live and work, and information about your children. It also helps if you have up-to-date information about your monthly income and expenses and household finances.
STEP 3: COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
It is important that you come to your appointment on time. We will set aside thirty minutes to meet with you to discuss your case. Before you meet with me, I ask that you complete an intake form that will provide me with some basic background information about you and your case. Then we will meet to discuss your case and what I may be able to do for you. At this time, I will quote you a fee and you can decide if you would like to retain my legal services.
Thanks so much for considering me as your attorney. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
